Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Head Coach Ifereimi Rawaqa has backed Kolora Lomani to call the shots at fly-half in this weekend’s crunch match against the Western Force in Round 4 of the Super Rugby Women’s Competition.
The former 7s Olympian was part of the Drua side that lifted the Super W title in 2022 and also played for Fiji at the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup in September 2022.
Lomani replaces Salanieta Kinita, who is unavailable this week due to a HIA Protocol.
Centre Josivini Naihamu is back in the starting line-up, along with Evivi Senikarivi.
In the starting 15, prop and last week’s winning try scorer Salanieta Nabuli starts at loosehead prop with captain Vika Matarugu at tighthead and Keleni Marawa at hooker.
In the middle row, Merevesi Ofakimalino partners Asinate Serevi, Nunia Daunimoala starts at the blindside flanker this week with Salaseini Railumu at openside with Karalaini Naisewa starts at No. 8.
In the backline Senikarivi will partner Lomani in the halves, Merewairita Neivosa shifts to the left wing with Repeka Tove on the right wing and Naihamu at inside center.
Last week’s Player of the Match, Vice-Captain Vitalina Naikore starts at outside center with Luisa Tisolo at fullback.
On the bench are Loraini Senivutu, Anasimeci Korovata,Tiana Robanakadavu, Alfreda Fisher, Bitila Tawake, Setaita Railumu, Ema Adivitaloga and Alowesi Nakoci.
