Springboks captain Siya Kolisi says it was difficult to watch the review of last weekend's loss to Australia, however, the world champions are determined to make amends in their Rugby Championship rematch in Brisbane tonight.

The Springboks were poor in their execution on both defence and attack in the 28-26 loss, with Wallabies fly-half Quade Cooper kicking the winning penalty after the siren.

Kolisi says they had pinpointed their errors and promised a much more polished display tonight.

He says they know where they went wrong and it was very upsetting to lose with the mistakes we made.

He adds they have worked hard on what they must do and they will be much better tonight.

The Wallabies will meet the Springboks at 7.05 tonight and the All Blacks will face Argentina at 10.05 tonight.
