Former Fiji Sevens Captain and Olympic Gold medalist Osea Kolinisau has successfully led his China Women's Team to win the Asia Rugby Sevens Series over Japan by 21-14 at the Al Ain Amblers Rugby Club in the United Arab Emirates.

Kolinisau was in control of his team from day one and some of the tactical moves made by the Chinese players were reflections of Oscar's prime playing days.

Also included in Kolinisau's Coaching Panel are former Fiji Sevens player Setefano Cakau, assisted by fellow Fijian Eroni Viqasi.

After the tournament, members of the winning Chinese Women's Team also took time to pose for a photo with members of the Fijian Diaspora for their support over the two-day tournament.

The two-day event was also attributed to the patriotic fans and especially the presence of the Pacific Island diaspora, the hard-working and well-organized efforts of the Asia Rugby Sevens officials and the able leadership of Al Amblers Rugby Club Manager and fellow Fijian Wise Ralifo and his dedicated staff.
