Kishan Sami and Savenaca Baledrokadroka will co‑captain the Vodafone National U23 side

Kishan Sami and Savenaca Baledrokadroka will co‑captain the Vodafone National U23 side to the OFC Olympic Qualifier 2019.

Fiji is the defending champion.

The 20 member team was named last night at Fiji FA Academy in Ba.

Manager Anushil Kumar says competition within the team was stiff as the players knew what was at stake.

The 20 member squad includes players likes of Atunaisa Naucukidi, Muni Shivam Naidu,, Afraz Ali, Ivan Kumar, Zainal Ali, Rajniel Chand, Alzaar Alam, Joeli Ranitu, Mohammed Ishtiyaq Shah, Bruce Hughes, Tito Vodowaqa, Kishan Sami, Savenaca Baledrokadroka, Akeimi Ralulu, Arami Manumanubai, Sekove Finau, Patrick Joseph, Scott Wara, Peni Tuigulagula and Jovilisi Borisi.

Fiji will take on Tonga at 3pm tomorrow at Churchill Park.

In the first match of the Qualifiers, the Solomon Islands will play American Samoa at 12pm at ANZ Stadium in Suva today.
