Virisila Silivere, has been hailed a hero for saving three children and three adults from drowning last week by the Assistant Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Sashi Kiran.
Kiran highlighted this comment while responding to a question on their plans to reward the 36-year-old woman.
She says it takes somebody with courage and with heart to do what she did.
She adds that the woman from Seaqaqa could have just gone out and looked for help, but she didn't, and took that risk to save a life.
Kiran hopes that people will be cautious and not risk their lives since Fiji has been constantly hit by floods for the past few years.
The Assistant Minister says they will be reaching out to Silivere and celebrate the hailed hero of Seaqaqa.
