Kings Road will be temporarily closed this Sunday from 2pm to 10pm, along the Suva-bound lanes from Nakasi Road junction to the Adi Lady Davila Road junction.

The Fiji Roads Authority say this closure is to trim three large trees encroaching on the pedestrian footpath, cycle lane and bus shelter, which pose safety hazards for people and drivers.

They say during the closure, all traffic heading to Suva will be diverted through Nakasi Road, Vavalagi Road and Vishnu Deo Road, returning to Kings Road.

The FRA appreciates the public's understanding and apologizes for any noise disturbances in the vicinity of the construction site.
