Bulldogs enforcer Viliame Kikau has joined the Vodafone Fiji Bati camp this morning as they prepare for round 1 of the Pacific Rugby League Bowl Championship against the PNG Kumuls this week.
Kikau arrived later than expected due to his release from his club and appears to be injury-free.
The 29-year-old’s arrival has boosted the team's preparations, as he was seen leading the new players during their training session at Albert Park.
Kikau is expected to be named in the matchday squad this week.
Kikau and the Bati had a scrimmaging session with the Tonga XIII women's side this morning.
Meanwhile, Panthers’ fullback Sunia Turuva is expected to join the team this Friday.
The Fiji Bati will face the PNG Kumuls this Saturday at 8.10pm at the HFC Bank Stadium.
