Former National Volleyball team captain and former CEO of the Fiji Bureau of Statistics, Kemueli Naiqama has been appointed as the new President of the Fiji Volleyball Federation following their AGM.
Naiqama will serve as President for the next three years.
He has represented Fiji at a number Pacific Games in the past.
Speaking to fijivillage, Naiqama says the biggest challenge they face is their debt which is hovering around $70,000 and they will try as hard as they can to address this.
He says this is an opportunity for him to try and elevate the sport to another level.
Naiqama says they were not part of the last Pacific Games and the recent Pacific Mini Games which is worrying.
He adds they will try their best to be part of the next Pacific Games.
