17-year-old Nitanshi Goel won Best Actress in a Leading Role at the IIFA Awards 2025 for her debut in Kiran Rao’s 2023 movie Laapataa Ladies.
Goel was overwhelmed with emotions as she accepted the award from veterans Boman Irani and Bobby Deol, for portraying Phool Kumari in the film.
Her heartfelt speech truly moved the audience.
She stunned attendees in a mesmerising ruby-red gown.
Goel has beaten Alia Bhatt’s Jigra, Katrina Kaif’s Merry Christmas, Yami Gautam’s Article 370 and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 to bag her first major acting award.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan wins Best Actor in a Leading Role for his work in the superhit comedy horror film Bhool Bulaiyaa 3.
He was nominated against Sparsh Shrivastava for Laapataa Ladies, Rajkumar Rao for Srikanth and Abhishek Bachan for I want to talk.
He says despite these hurdles, Kartik expressed immense gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support and giving love to both Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and 3.
