Flying Fijians utility forward Kitione Kamikamica played an instrumental role in Racing 92’s 34-24 win over a determined Brive side in their Top 14 clash this morning.
Kamikamica started at number 8 for Racing and scored a try in the 24th minute of the first half.
The burly forward caused trouble for the opposition with his explosive runs accumulating a total of 94 metres in 12 runs and a total of 15 tackles with 6 turnovers.
With the Rugby World Cup coming up in September, Kamikamica is likely to be a weapon for the Flying Fijians in the loose forwards after his impressive performances in the last few games this season.
Meanwhile, Tevita Ratuva, Mesulame Kunavula, Setareki Bituniyata and Setareki Tuicuvu all started for Brive but could not help their side go down to the ever-impressive Racing side.
In other Top 14 results, Bayonne beat Stade Francais 29-26, Perpignan hammered Pau 49-29, Lyon Montpelier 31-21, La Rochelle beat Castres 32-17 and Toulon beat Toulouse 17-6.
