High Court Judge Justice Daniel Goundar has dismissed an appeal by Apete Kaisau who admitted to killing Fiji Red Cross boss John Scott and his partner Gregory Scrivener in July 2001 but was not convicted of the murders on the grounds of insanity.
Kaisau told the court that he was appealing an assault case that was discontinued.
Kaisau who allegedly assaulted a male nurse at Saint Giles Hospital was charged with assault but the Office of the DPP decided not to continue with the case.
Justice Goundar dismissed the appeal saying it was an abuse of process.
Kaisau also had to be removed from the courtroom today by a Corrections Officer after saying that he was not wrong and did not like what Justice Goundar told him.
