Kadavu villagers allege they saw a foreign navy vessel

Some villagers from Nabukelevu-I-Ra in Kadavu were questioned by Police early this week in relation to a ship that was seen in the Kadavu waters last week.

72 year old Etika Cokanasiga said he saw two Police officers from Vunisea enter the village to obtain information from the men who sighted the naval ship.

Cokanasiga added there is no confirmation on who was inside the ship and where it was heading to.

The area the villagers say they saw the naval ship is the same location specified by the government from where Ratu Tevita Uluilakeba Mara was picked up by the Tongan navy vessel Savea.
