With less then 12 hours until Christmas Day, it is crunch time for Naomi Maioa, who is always looking forward to this time of the year for record sales.

Maioa who is a kava seller at the Suva Market says that with 1kg pure Kadavu Waka going for $149, all she is thinking of now is to cater for the demand that comes at this time of year.

She says having her own farm in Kadavu is a milestone achievement as she does not have to go out to look for Kava dealers to get her supply.

She says that she would not have been a successful businesswoman without the help of her family members, which includes her children and her siblings.

Maioa says that Christmas to her is all about family time and tomorrow it will be meaningful to spend time with her family.

Maioa who has been selling kava for a while now hails from the village of Joma in Kadavu.
