A juvenile who was convicted for registering under a false name using false information has been given a suspended sentence by the Suva Magistrates Court.
He has been given a six month imprisonment term which has been suspended for 3 years.
He was charged by FICAC with 2 counts of giving false information to a public servant and 1 count of making a false statement.
He had lodged a Registration of Employee application for a FNPF Joint Card with FNPF using a fake Birth Certificate registration number and a Tax Identification Number under a different name.
The boy also used a fake Birth Certificate to register as a voter with the Fijian Elections Office.
