High Court Judge, Justice Salesi Temo says it is a concern that society has broken down in areas like Kadavu, Ra, and Tailevu after the rise in drugs in these areas.
While speaking at Leadership Fiji's National Dialogue on Substance Abuse – Let’s Talk About It! Finding a Fijian Solution, Justice Temo says the worrying concerns continue and children involved in drugs are not even listening to their fathers.
Justice Temo says some villagers are just loading up fibreglass boats to transport marijuana from Kadavu to Suva and getting cash as high as $15,000.
He says this is a concern and these suppliers should really be targeted.
