The judgement in the case where Congo national Kiala Henri Lusaka allegedly murdered his wife will be delivered on Friday.
The 42 year old allegedly murdered his Australian wife on 23rd July, 2019 in Service Street, Suva.
The judgement was expected to be delivered today however, High Court Judge, Justice Kulatunga Mudiyanselage Gihan Himanshu Kulatunga says the evidence shows possible mental abnormalities that could be psychosis of a particular type or psychosis due to underlying substance abuse.
He says the prosecution, Assistant DPP, Elizabeth Rice and defence lawyer Laurel Vaurasi could make submissions on whether these circumstances entitle Lusaka of diminished responsibility.
They have been given until midday tomorrow to make submissions.
