Joyful day for Yavusa Ravinivatu as two of their sons completes RFMF recruitment training

It was a memorable day for the Yavusa Ravinivatu in the village of Vaturova in Cakaudrove after two of its sons graduated from the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces recruitment training today.

The two are 25-year-old William Tikina and 23-year-old Paula Tuvuwai.

54-year-old Miriama Talolo, the mother of the two, was full of joy after witnessing her two sons graduating knowing that their hard work had finally paid off.

She says it was challenging to raise her sons as she had to take over the role of a mother and father in the family.

She adds this is the first time two brothers from their village to graduate from the RFMF recruitment at the same time.

190 officers passed out today from the RFMF.
