According to World-renowned boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, the World Heavyweight title fight between defending champion Anthony Joshua and Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk will be held on the 25th of September.
Joshua will defend his IBF, WBA and WBO belts against the Ukrainian, who is his mandatory challenger.
BBC reports that Usyk has not challenged for a heavyweight title but has held all four belts in the cruiserweight division.
Hearn revealed the date on Instagram and is also promoting London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the venue.
Joshua was supposed to fight WBC champion, Tyson Fury for a unification heavyweight title fight in August, however, Deontay Wilder won his arbitration case for a third fight with Fury and is was set to face the Gypsy King this month.
Earlier this month, BBC reported that Fury contracted COVID-19 and the fight has been rescheduled for October.
