Joseph Parker looks set for a massive pre-Christmas showdown with Deontay Wilder in Saudi Arabia.
The Kiwi heavyweight boxer is reportedly readying for a December 23 fight against the man considered one of the most powerful punchers in the world.
According to overseas reports, the two former world champions are likely to go toe-to-toe in Riyadh which would also see Anthony Joshua squaring off with Otto Wallin.
Parker, 31, who surrendered his WBO title to Joshua in Cardiff in 2018 in what was the first loss of his professional career, is coming off a dominant knockout win a fortnight ago against Canadian Simon Kean in the Saudi capital, and the fight against Wilder would be his fourth of 2023 – the most he has taken on in one year since 2016.
Wilder, who held the WBC title for five years from 2015, is regarded as one of the fiercest punches going around.
Of his 43 wins, a staggering 42 have come via knockout.
