Heavyweight boxer, Joseph Parker settled the score against his old rival Junior Fa but only after being taken the distance at Spark Arena in New Zealand.
Parker was unable to deliver the knockout he so desperately craved to kick-start another title charge as Fa stood tall for the full 12 rounds in a tough but generally drama-free clash in front of about 8,000 fans.
In the end, Parker was rewarded for his aggressive approach as the judges scored the bout 119-109, 115-113 and 117-111 in his favour to claim a unanimous decision victory and improve his record 28-2.
The result ensured that almost a decade after Fa ended his Olympics dream in 2012, Parker finally took his revenge to lead their head-to-head rivalry 3-2, although the performance will do little to silence questions over whether he has the power to cut it against the likes of champions Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.
