The US Ambassador to Fiji, Joseph Cella will return to the US at the end of next week and he has labelled his stay in Fiji as the best job he has ever had.
Cella says he has so many beautiful memories from Fiji and his heart his full of joy.
The outgoing Ambassador says the loving nature of the Fijian people stands out and meeting some of the survivors of World War 2 is something he will treasure forever.
Cella adds when the opportunity came for him to serve, Fiji was at the top of his list.
Cella says the next thing for him is having a rest filled time with his immediate family.
He also paid tribute to his teammates at the US Embassy.
Cella served in Fiji for 14 months.
