The man who was hospitalized after a drug bust in Denarau over two weeks ago has regained consciousness and is admitted at the Lautoka Hospital.
John Nikolic who is the husband of Yvette Nikolic who was further remanded in custody yesterday, went into a coma after allegedly consuming a potentially deadly drug cocktail that left him fighting for his life.
According to news.com.au Nikolic who is a former Victorian horse Trainer is out of the Lautoka Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
John’s mother and brother who is a high‑profile jockey, Danny Nikolic have been constantly visiting him at the Lautoka hospital.

Australian National Yvette Dianne Nikolic has been charged with one count of unlawful importation of illicit drugs, one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs and one count of failure to declare arms and ammunition to a customs officer.
It is alleged that Nikolic with another person imported 12.9 kilograms of cocaine and 34.4 grams of methamphetamine and cocaine tablets last month.
It is also alleged that Nikolic with another person failed to declare arms and ammunition to a customs officer whilst arriving into the Denarau Marina in a yacht last month.
