13 people have found employment after Harrisons Fiji opened its first branch in the north in the tourist town of Savusavu.
Manager Ashika Deo says due to public demand, they decided to open their first branch in Savusavu and they will open their second shop at Damodar Complex Labasa in a few weeks time.
Deo says they sell kalavata, ready made dresses for women, traveling bags, school bags, men's shorts and t-shirts, ladies and also kids ware.
She adds there are challenges in opening a business in Savusavu as there are also other retail shops such as Jack's of Fiji and S Nagindas who will a competition.
She adds they are looking forward to the opening of their shop in Labasa.
