Olympic gold medalist Jiuta Wainiqolo will not be part of the selection group for Monday’s game against Wales.
The 22-year-old was removed from the field in the 10th minute of the first half against Spain after sustaining a concussion.
Vodafone Flying Fijians Interim Coach Gareth Baber says Wainiqolo is being monitored daily.
Baber says once he is symptom-free, they can begin with the protocols of bringing him back to training first then he can play again.
Meanwhile, Baber has revealed that New Zealand based, Zuriel Togiatama has joined the squad and he will be in the selection group for Monday’s game.
Fiji meet Wales at 3.15am Monday.
In other international test matches, Scotland will face the Springboks at 1am Sunday, Italy will play Argentina at 1am Sunday, the All Blacks will meet Ireland at 3.15am Sunday and the Wallabies will take on England at 5.30am Sunday.
