Permanent Secretary for Agriculture Jitendra Singh who had earlier resigned from his position, has now been appointed as the Permanent Secretary for Public Enterprises.
This follows the withdrawal of Singh’s earlier letter of resignation.
In a statement, the Public Service Commission says with the agreement of the Prime Minister, Singh’s appointment has been made.
It also says that with the agreement of the Prime Minister, the Permanent Secretary for Public Enterprises David Kolitagane, has been appointed the Permanent Secretary for Agriculture.
Kolitagane will continue to serve in his role as Acting Permanent Secretary for Infrastructure and Transport concurrently until further notice.
These appointments take effect immediately.
