The Japanese Rugby side has set their focus on winning the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup title as they prepare to take on the Fiji Water Flying Fijians in the final this Saturday.
The last time Japan lifted the PNC title was back in 2019 and they are adamant about doing it again this year in front of their home fans.
After defeating Samoa 49-27 in the second semi final over the weekend, Japan’s head coach Eddie Jones says as much as they are pleased to be in the final, their only aim is to win it.
He says they are going to play against a high-quality Flying Fijians side and they have got a good week's preparation ahead of them to get ready.
Meanwhile, the Flying Fijians had a short training session yesterday before moving camp to Osaka later in the afternoon where they will be based this week for the PNC final.
The Flying Fijians will take on Japan at 10.05pm at the Hanazono Rugby Stadium in Osaka, Japan.
