Meanwhile, Ministry of Education say the overall percentage pass rate for this year is 79.7 percent compared to 75.2 percent last year.

Out of the 7,246 students who sat for the examination this year, 5,773 passed.

Education Minister, Dr. Mahendra Reddy while congratulating the students said that the door is now open for students to pursue their career and this is also an opportune time to secure financial assistance from the Toppers and Loan Scheme.

He added that for those who have failed the exam, there is still room for further studies.
