He has acted in some episodes of the hit TV series Spartacus and has gone on to make his big break in Hollywood as he stars in the new movie “Emperor” alongside Tommy Lee Jones and Matthew Fox.
It is now highly likely that Auckland based actor, Aaron Jackson, whose father is from Savusavu, is also expected to feature in Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s movie, Hercules.
Speaking to Fijivillage from NZ, Jackson said acting in “Emperor” has resulted in many more opportunities for him.
Jackson is one of the first with Fiji links to achieve this.
He has just returned from the world premier of “Emperor” in the Toronto Film Festival.
He said he will never forget acting with Tommy Lee Jones, Matthew Fox and others.
Jackson said he is proud to be from Savusavu and he is happy that he is making Fiji and NZ proud.
He puts it down to divine appointment on how he has managed to make the big break.
Aaron Jackson also has a message to all the people listening in Savusavu.
Jackson has appeared in NZ movies Rage, Tangiwai and Existence.
He is also expected to feature in a new movie called Harry.
Emperor which was partly shot in New Zealand, is set for general release next year.
