President Jioji Konrote has urged environment-friendly business.

While speaking at the Fiji Business Excellence Awards in Nadi last night, Konrote says we should consider the promotion and introduction of environment-friendly technologies, processes and raw materials wherever it is possible.

He says over 20 years, business excellence initiative in Fiji has helped more than 70 organisations put in place robust management systems and establish a culture of continuous improvement for sustained growth.

He also commended businesses for continuously punching above its weight in accomplishments and persevering for excellence in all sectors of our developing nation.

Jack’s of Fiji won the President’s Excellence Award.

The CEO of Jack’s of Fiji Bhavin Khatri dedicated the award to all their 1,500 plus staff, their families and customers for the dedication to allow them to win the most prestigious corporate award in Fiji.
