Italy wins EURO 2020

Gianluigi Donnarumma saved 2 penalties as Italy beat England 3-2 on penalties to win the EURO 2020.

Both teams were locked one all at full time.

Luke Shaw had given England an early lead but veteran Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci equalized for Italy in the second half.

Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka missed the penalties for England.

England goalkeeper, Jordan Pickford had also saved two penalties.

England were aiming to win an international title for the first time since the 1966 World Cup.

Italy last won an international title when they won the 2006 World Cup.
