It was just like another day in the village throwing the ball around for the boys.
Those were the words of Swire Shipping Fijian Drua flyhalf Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula after helping his side secure a comfortable 31-13 win over the Western Force in round 6 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition under a wet Churchill Park.
Ravula says it really was an exciting match for them even though they were not expecting the conditions to be that wet and the rain to be that heavy.
He says everyone did their job on and off the field and they came out with the result.
The 20-year-old scored a total of 16 points off his boots kicking 2 conversions and 4 penalty goals.
The win yesterday has seen the Drua move up to 7th place in the Men’s overall points table with 13 points.
The Hurricanes remain at the top of the table with 27 points after 6 wins from 6 games followed by the Blues with 22 points and the Brumbies sit at 3rd place with 22 points as well.
The Fijian Drua will travel to Melbourne next weekend to take on the Rebels at 8.35pm Friday.
In other matches next week, the Blues host the Force at 6.05pm Friday, the Chiefs take on Moana Pasifika at 6.05pm Saturday and the Brumbies will take on the Waratahs at 8.35pm Saturday.
