Fiji born All Blacks winger, Sevu Reece has explained his decision to choose New Zealand over Fiji, having made his Rugby World Cup debut in Saturday's 23‑13 victory over South Africa.
Born in Nadi, Reece was eligible to represent Fiji, however turned down an invitation from coach John McKee in favour of chasing the chance to play for the All Blacks.
Reece says to be fair it was a dream of his to always play for the All Blacks.
He says he had conversations with McKee , and showed him his plan, what he wanted to do, what my future looked like, and that was in the black jersey.
The All Blacks play Canada at 10.15pm next Wednesday in their second pool game of the Rugby World Cup.
