Investment Fiji and Tourism Fiji will host the Fiji Tourism Investment Summit with the support of International Finance Corporation by bringing 40 to 50 businesses and investors sponsored by HFC Bank and Telecom.
The Summit aims to promote potential investment opportunities which currently exists in Fiji’s tourism sector that will be from March 30th to 31st at Sheraton Fiji Golf and Beach Resort.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation, Viliame Gavoka says Government is committed to remove barriers for investment in tourism.
Gavoka says in the short and medium term they are looking at around 4,000 rooms in line with Fiji Airways expansion plans.

Tourism Fiji Chief Executive Officer, Brent Hill says there is a bump in tourism investment that is visible in some great projects and Fiji is keen on showcasing its potential.
