As Police continue investigations into the vandalism of the Go Advertising billboard which has FijiFirst Leader Voreqe Bainimarama, the same billboard has now been vandalised for the third time.

Fijivillage witnessed the vandalised billboard in Vugalei, Lami again this morning.

The owner of Go Advertising Charles Wakeham confirms that they are cleaning up the billboard in Vugalei for the third time this week.

Wakeham says they also have a case of vandalism of another FijiFirst billboard which has Bainimarama, near LTA Lami.

He says that billboard has also been vandalised three times.

Wakeham says they have only received these repeated cases of vandalism of only FijiFirst billboards from the Lami area.

It appears some people have thrown clogs of mud at the billboards.

Wakeham says they have reported the matter to Police and know that officers are talking to people in the area.

Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho confirms they are investigating the complaint following the repeated vandalism of the billboards in Lami.

In a statement on its Facebook page the FijiFirst called the act a clear demonstration of the lawlessness that we can expect if thugs are elected into government.

It said these are the tactics that their opposition and their supporters resort to when they are going to lose the election.

It also says they take out their frustration on billboards because the people have rejected the lies and false information they are spreading.

Meanwhile SODELPA Leader Sitiveni Rabuka says the acts of vandalism are unlawful and they do not support these types of actions.
