The Land Transport Authority and Police are continuing investigations into how the Sunbeam Transport Bus caught fire near Nawai, Nadi last week.

LTA CEO, Naisa Tuinaceva said that initial findings confirm that mechanical problems caused the fire, however investigations continue to find the real cause of the incident.

Tuinaceva added that once the investigations are completed and the relevant authorities are informed than the public will be informed in due course.
