The National Disaster Management Office says the National Emergency Operations Centre is liaising with the Divisional Emergency Operations Centres to collate Initial Damage Assessment after Tropical Cyclone Tino.
NDMO says the Initial Damage Assessment reports will determine initial response and relief to severely affected areas.
They say currently there are 22 evacuation centres open in the Eastern Division where 279 people are taking shelter.
NDMO says 4 of the centres are school’s and the Commissioner Eastern is working with the health officials and evacuees to clear the schools before classes resume tomorrow.
Meanwhile, all evacuation centres in the North have been cleared.
Schools which were used as evacuations centres are also ready for classes to resume tomorrow.
