India's star off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has announced his retirement from International Cricket.
Ashwin announced this after the third test match against Australia was drawn in Brisbane.
The 38-year-old, ranked seventh in Test history for most wickets, ends a remarkable 14-year career with 537 wickets in 106 Tests at an average of 24.
He is second only to Anil Kumble in India’s all-time bowling records.
Ashwin also contributed with the bat, scoring six centuries and averaging 25.75.
Ashwin says he will still have some cricket left in him and hopes to showcase that at the club level.
