The Immigration Department cannot announce the confirmed date on the arrival of new Fiji passports as Oberthur Technologies has not informed them when they will be sent from France.
Director Nemani Vuniwaqa said he has received no explanation from the new passport suppliers why they cannot give a confirmed date now.
