Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Ben Gollings

First of all, I’m not going to live in the past as I’m focused on what we can control and that is the present and the future.

This was the response from Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Ben Gollings after being asked by fijivillage News about the current 18-tournament losing streak that the team is currently on.

Gollings says they have a process and a plan and they know where they are going as a team as the Paris Olympics is the huge tag this year.

He says they are working hard with the time available and as the coach he is not unhappy with where the team is currently at right now.

He adds the team are always working hard and they will continue to work hard to get good results.

Gollings has asked fans to be patient with the team as they go along.

The Fiji Men will play Great Britain at 2.54pm tomorrow in their first pool match, they will then take on Canada at 5.30am Sunday, before playing France at 10.22am Sunday in their last pool match. The men’s cup quarter finals will kick off at 3.26pm Sunday, the semi finals will be at 10.08am Monday and the final will be at 2.32pm Monday.
