Fijian Drua hooker Tevita Ikanivere is looking forward to another challenge this week in the Super Rugby Pacific when they face the Brumbies.
The 23-year-old says he is honoured to be part of history as one of the first Drua players to participate in the Super Rugby competition.
Ikanivere says they understand last week's results were not what the fans wanted, however, the boys have learned from their mistakes and are looking forward to the game against the Brumbies.
The man from Nukuni in Ono-I-Lau is one of the local players in the Drua.
He was part of the Fiji Under 20 squad in 2018 and 2019, and also the Fiji Warriors in 2019.
Ikanivere was also part of the Flying Fijians extended squad for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
One of his greatest achievements is being part of the Flying Fijians team that defeated the Barbarians in 2019.
The Drua will meet the Brumbies at 3.35pm Saturday.
In other matches this week, the Highlanders will take on the Crusaders at 6.05pm Friday, the Waratahs will meet the Reds at 8.45pm Friday, the Blues will play the Hurricanes at 6.05pm Saturday, and the Rebels will face the Western Force at 8.45pm Saturday.
