Flying Fijians veteran winger Nemani Nadolo says if they can put a smile on the faces of Fijians and give them hope, then they are doing their job.
He says they are also playing for their families tonight.
Nadolo says they have players in their team that have not seen their kids in such a long time because of the border closures.
He says people don’t understand the sacrifices that his teammates made to be there.
Nadolo adds they are proud family men.
He told Sky Sport Rugby that it breaks his heart to see what is going in Fiji because he has family here.
Leone Nakarawa will lead the Flying Fijians tonight after Levani Botia was ruled out due to injury.
Fiji has named a strong line-up with Peni Ravai, Sam Matavesi, Mesake Doge, Temo Mayanavanua, Johnny Dyer, Mesulame Kunavula and Peceli Yato in the forwards. Melbourne Rebels' half-back Frank Lomani will team up with Ben Volavola in the halves, while Eneriko Buliruarua and Waisea Nayacalevu are in the midfield. Nemani Nadolo and Setareki Tuicuvu are on the wing with Kini Murimurivalu starting at fullback.
Fiji will play the All Blacks at 7.05 tonight.
