The Interim Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum stresses that members of the International Bar Association are not welcome in Fiji at this stage.
Speaking to Village News just moments ago, Sayed Khaiyum confirmed that IBA Programmes Lawyer Felica Johnston was stopped from entering the country under a directive by the Interim Government.
Sayed Khaiyum says any visit could jeopardize the court cases and the IBA will be welcomed at a later date.
Meanwhile, Fiji Law Society President, Isireli Fa says they will seek answers from the authorities on why such actions have been taken against a members of the International Bar Association.
