I trust all employers in Fiji to follow new minimum wage rate - Konrote

Minister for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations Jioji Konrote says he has trust in all employers around Fiji to follow the new minimum wage rate of $2.32 when it comes into effect on the 1st of July.

Konrote says the Ministry has held consultations with its stakeholders who have agreed to the new minimum wage rate.

He says the minimum wage rate goes right across the board and they will be targeting those in the manufacturing industry.
