Deputy Prime Minister, Manoa Kamikamica stresses that he stands firmly with his Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka, and his message to those that wish to form their own party is to resign immediately.
Kamikamica says to those from the People’s Alliance Party who are trying to form a new party that "leave now and don’t let that door hit you on the way out."
He says "to them I say, you have no respect for the sacrifices we’ve made in trying to secure stability for our democracy. You‘ve shown no respect for the tens of thousands of Fijians that cast their vote because they believed in the Prime Minister and the People's Alliance vision."
Kamikamica adds that "let me be crystal clear—there is no room for instability, no room for personal agendas that work against the unity of our nation."
He says the efforts of those attempting to destabilise the government and party will be met with unwavering resolve.
Kamikamica says to those keyboard warriors and rumour-mongers, good luck and goodbye.
He says they are committed to ensuring that Fiji remains a stable and prosperous nation for generations to come.
Kamikamica says the work they are doing now is laying the groundwork for economic growth, social unity, and a stronger future.
He says they will not allow anyone to derail that vision.
