Hollywood actress, Shailene Woodley loved filming Adrift, but it was not the easiest film she's ever been a part of.
Film shoots involved two hour motorboat rides out into the middle of the ocean.
As a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Woodley talked about filming her recent film Adrift in Fiji and a majority of the cast and crew got seasick during days of shooting.
Shailene Woodley and lead actor in the film Me Before You, Sam Claflin play romantic couple Tami Oldham and Richard Sharp, who sail together on a yacht from Tahiti to California and get caught in what would become one of the most catastrophic hurricanes in history.
It is based on Oldham's memoir Red Sky in Mourning: The True Story of a Woman's Courage and Survival at Sea.
The Golden Globe‑nominated actress performed her own stunts in the harrowing adventure, shot mostly in the open ocean off Fiji adding that she also had to learn to sail for the film.
Shailene Woodley has also starred in movies that include the three Divergent movies, The Fault in Our Stars, The Amazing Spider Man 2 and Snowden.
The film Adrift will hit cinemas around the country this Friday.
