World Rugby 7s Player of the Year, Jerry Tuwai has shared some insight into what he wants his legacy to be in a short film by Japanese sportswear company - Mizuno.
The 3- minute short film titled "Jerry Tuwai - For the moment" was produced by 5Tribe Films based in Devon, South West UK.
It deeply showcases Tuwai's rugby roots and tells the story of how his parents have helped and inspired him in his life.
In the film, the Fiji Airways Men's National 7s team halfback says when he is running on the field and gets tired he pictures their house and his parents working really hard on the farm.
He says he does not want to be remembered but just wants to help the next generation achieve more than he has.
Tuwai says rugby can change anyone and he knows that because he has come through that life.
He says he never sacrificed alot because it is the sacrifice of his parents and family that has helped him in life.
Tuwai says he can't give up now because his parents never gave up on him.
5Tribe Film says people use the word 'Humble' all too easy these days, but this truly was a humbling experience.
It says to see how such a phenomenal athlete lives in a country where people don't have to have a lot to be happy was amazing.
