Former Prime Minister and former Opposition Leader Sitiveni Rabuka says at this stage he is only planning to form a proposed political party and there is no confirmation on the name of this planned proposed party.
It is being strongly suggested that Rabuka's planned proposed party will be called the People's Alliance.
Rabuka says he is looking at that name but at this stage, nothing is official until they approach the Registrar of Political Parties.
The former SODELPA Leader says none of the current members of SODELPA have approached him about joining his proposed party.
Rabuka says currently he does not want to approach any current member of SODELPA because it would seem like he is trying to break up SODELPA.
Rabuka says the party would be similar to the former SVT that he headed in the 1990s.
