The Hurricanes are inspired by the way the Highlanders attacked the four-time defending champions in Super Rugby Aotearoa on Friday.
The Highlanders shocked fans when they thrashed the Crusaders 33-12.
Hurricanes Coach Jason Holland says the Highlanders were impressive and they can take something away from them with how they attacked the Crusaders.
Holland says they will look at the Crusaders and make sure they attack with the same vigour they saw from the Highlanders on Friday.
The Highlanders are currently at the bottom of the points table with 5 points while the Crusaders lead with 18 points.
The Hurricanes will take on the Crusaders at 3.35pm Sunday and the Highlanders will face the Chiefs at 7.05pm Saturday.
