The Hurricanes will be looking to pay back their 27-24 loss to the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua last season in Suva when they clash in Round 9 of Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.
The Hurricanes have won one out of two matches against the Drua since the Drua’s inception into Super Rugby in 2022.
Last season’s match was hosted by the Drua at the HFC Bank Stadium and was filled with excitement as the Hurricanes led most of the match.
The Hurricanes' hearts were then shattered after Drua centre Kemu Valetini slotted in two penalties in the 75th and 79th minute of the game.
Hurricanes captain Brad Shields says they are looking forward to playing the Drua again in Suva.
He says they are excited about this match.
The Drua will meet the Hurricanes at 7.05pm Friday at the HFC Bank Stadium, while the Fijian Drua Women will face the Western Force at 4.35pm Friday at the same venue.
In other Super Rugby Pacific matches, the Reds will face the Highlanders at 9.35pm Friday, the Blues will meet the Brumbies at 7.05pm Saturday, and the Force will take on the Crusaders at 9.35pm Saturday.
