The Hurricanes have consolidated their place in Super Rugby Pacific's top eight, after a 53-12 victory over Moana Pasifika last night.
Nearly three weeks from a shock loss to the same opposition in a golden point thriller at Mt Smart Stadium, the Hurricanes had the last laugh over Super Rugby's newcomers, running in eight tries for a bonus-point win.
Two tries were scored loose-forward Blake Gibson while Reed Prinsep, Pasilio Tosi, TJ Perenara, Kianu Kereru-Symes, Wes Gosen, and Alex Fidow scored a try each.
The win moves the Hurricanes past the Western Force and into seventh place on the Super Rugby Pacific points table.
Moana Pasifika remains at the bottom of the ladder, with just four points and one victory from their first seven matches.
Meanwhile, Moana Pasifika will meet the Chiefs at 4.35pm Saturday and the Hurricanes will take on the Highlanders at 7.05pm Saturday.
In other matches, the Crusaders will take on the Blues at 7.05pm Friday, the Reds will play the Rebels at 9.45pm Friday, and the Force will face the Waratahs at 9.45pm Saturday.
